Wonderful image. Curious to know where you found this painting! It's a rare example of Tworkov's late 40s... it belongs to a series of paintings once in which, titled "Green Landscape," is in the collection of the Baltimore Museum of Art.
I did a little digging and see I found that piece at the SUNY New Paltz site, apparently from a past exhibition. When I go back to the site, however, I can't find it in the past exhibitions now:

BTW... I recently curated an exhibition of works by Tworkov dating from 1945-1952: JACK TWORKOV: ACCIDENT OF CHOICE, The Artist at Black Mountain College 1952 on exhibit now at BMCM+AC.
