There is so much going on in this piece, I see everything from ghosts & goblins to elephants on parade!! I love the brush strokes and use of colors in a way that almost drains the eyes. I really like this one!! Thanks for sharing!!
I agree - much going on here. Pollock painted this during his "symbolism" period, I believe. Later on, he abandoned that and moved to his famous drip paintings.
I do like it. I learned a bit about Jackson Pollock while taking Art Appreciation a few semesters ago and love the Gothic Impressionistic movement. Its dark and unpredictable at best nevertheless, it draws you in and forces you to take notice. I really like Pollock's work and think I'll do a little research on it to further my understanding.
